Although 4k-8k TVs are sometimes too large for living rooms, there's no denying that the Samsung QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV raises the bar for home entertainment if you have the room and the money. The QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV from Samsung features a Mini LED and offers excellent picture quality, exceptional color and brightness, great sound, and exceptional black levels. It also appears rather nice when it is turned off.
Samsung's 'Quantum' Mini LED is the display panel's internal technology. Due to the thinner thickness of those LEDs compared to standard LEDs, thousands more tiny LEDs may be crammed into a given space than in other LED TVs. As a result, the Samsung can provide black depths that are nearly indistinguishable to our eyes from those of an OLED display thanks to more precise dimming.
This is due to the fact that smaller LEDs have the advantage of being more precise and less prone to blooming, which is the phenomenon in which light travels in unexpected directions. This TV eliminates the artificial screen bleedover of bright areas into darker areas. The QN900A is also equipped with Samsung's Multi-Intelligence AI upscaling, which allows it to produce photos that are noticeably superior than their originals.
We docked it a half star, so why? The software, to keep it simple. The new Smart Hub UI from Samsung feels like a step backwards, making previously quick and easy modifications more involved. The Smart Hub is not as impressive as the TV itself.

With a thin border around the screen and a narrow rear that is as flat as the front, the Samsung QN95B Neo QLED design pays homage to the celebrated Samsung QN95A's so-called Infinity theme and produces a remarkable monolithic appearance. The appearance conveys a tone that is both high-end and modern.
The picture quality is excellent—at moments, truly astoundingly good. The already remarkable efforts of the QN95A Mini LED premiere are further improved by improved processing and backlight settings, with less blooming, higher brightness, and better shadow definition standing out in particular.
This year's visual quality is also much more consistent across gaming and video sources, and while the sound doesn't quite measure up to the pictures this year, it still makes an excellent partner thanks to Object Tracking Sound technology.
Is that terrible news? Samsung made a mistake when it updated its Tizen smart system, adding needless complexity and making some unwise design choices in comparison to its simple and entertaining forerunner. However, the overall picture enhancements are so compelling that a little discomfort on the intelligence front and even quite a bit of discomfort on the pocketbook front cannot diminish their brilliance.

Samsung has finally made an OLED TV after putting it down for years. Almost. Even though Samsung says that the S95B is just another OLED, it's actually more than that. Its screen hides a whole new type of OLED technology that combines the famous self-emitting properties of OLED with the brightness and color range potential of QLED.
This new technology can compete with the best OLED TVs on a platform that is almost too cutting-edge. This is because the back of the screen is only as deep as a typical drinks coaster. We're looking at a TV that has everything: Samsung's latest AI-inspired picture processor, a massively comprehensive and re-designed Tizen-based smart system, the latest gaming features, and even, despite its ultra-slim design, a smart object tracking sound audio system.
The Samsung S95B has a lot of different features, but the picture quality is without a doubt the best thing about it. Samsung's eagerness to show off what its new technology can do causes a few problems with the way the picture is set up. However, with a little tweaking, it offers a combination of brightness, black depth, contrast, and color that we've never seen on a consumer TV before. It's a unique thing.

Samsung The Terrace is the world's biggest TV company's first outdoor TV. It's not just a weatherproof screen that won't break if you watch football in the rain. Samsung is also acknowledging the fact that people like to use their devices in places other than the living room.
Samsung The Terrace only comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch sizes, so if you want a small TV to hang on the side of your shed, you're out of luck. But if you want to install a QLED display into your home's back wall (or better yet, have a professional do it, as Samsung suggests) so that more than one person can watch your TV without sitting right in front of it, this is the way to do it.
We need to make it clear that this TV is weatherproof, not waterproof. We strongly suggest using the waterproof cover when you're not using it, or installing it so that it's at least partially protected from the weather.

Samsung's Mini LED QN900A Neo QLED 8K TV has great picture quality, great colors and brightness, great sound, and great blacks, all in a very slim and attractive package.
As we've already said, Samsung's "Quantum" Mini LEDs are only 1/40th as thick as a normal light-emitting diode. That means Samsung can put them much closer together in the same space, making its backlights much more precise and giving it much better control over colors and contrast. We can't really tell the difference between the quality and contrast of this and that of a high-end OLED display. And with a huge 8K screen resolution and top-notch upscaling from the AI-based Neo Quantum Processor 8K, even old movies will look completely different.
This TV isn't quite as advanced as the newer Samsung QN900B, but it's still a great 8K option that you should definitely think about buying.
